I travelled 100 miles to do business with H&B. They gave me the best price I could find for a diamond solitaire and wedding band from a previous relationship. I found them during a web search, and my experience was fantastic! After being treated like a second-class citizen by another pawnbroker, my expectations were low. But the staff at H&B was kind and courteous and I was treated fairly. Their storefront is clean and uncrowded, their staff is knowledgable, and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, professional pawnbroker.

I've purchased many, many instruments and items from H & B over 25 years but I wasn't endeared to them until an incident occurred that proved their honesty to me. In October 2003 I had a very expensive violin stolen from my home. In June 2004 I was passing H & B's store front and spotted my rare and valuable instrument. After describing the caseing and particular identifying marks, they were able to give it back to me. I will forever be indebted to them and feel very lucky that they are the ones that I have done business with for years. They had a great selection of musical instruments, particularly strings and guitars. Their prices are fair and often are marked below Ebay so it's well worth the time to go down town and check them out.

When I told my friends that I bought the stone at a pawnshop, all of their eyebrows raised, until I told them how much I saved, and how helpful and knowledgeable you were. I am laughing all the way to the credit union. I handed out three of your cards at our Easter dinner. You will see me again !
